2315 Sunset Blvd, Rocklin, California near the Bel Air Supermarket on the corner of Stanford Ranch and Sunset Blvd. We have partnered with Fusion Elite Performance Training Center and this location and the leadership here is awesome! Our new top of the line flooring surface is sprung on a wood frame over foam block and the surface is dressed out with premium 3' x 6' tatami mats. This is the perfect place to train elite level athletes as well as our older adults who want to learn the art and sport of Judo, but are worried about the falls. This floor will feel amazing to those who have never experienced such a floor. In addition, we now have multiple restrooms and 3 separate changing rooms for our club members. We are very excited to let you all check it out at our first class which take place on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 7:00 pm. Arrive a little early and take a short tour. The size of this club is over 10,000 square feet! That's right, over 10,000 square feet!! To top it off this club is sprayed from top to bottom with a sterilization fogger each and every day with routine cleaning in between classes. With our number one priority being the well being and safety of our club members this alligns perfectly with our desired protocols. It just confirms that this move is the move we so desparately needed in our current environment. We are pretty confident that you will be as impressed as we are and we can't wait to see you all on the mat very soon.

Here is a short video demonstrating a series of techniques from the Folding Knee Throw (Sutemi Waza). This is not an instructional video, but rather a very short clip highlighting some of what we work on down at the club. We hope to post a few more videos in the coming months demonstrating some other techniques, applications, and strategies. We always recommend that you seek competent professional instruction by a certified black belt instructor before attempting any of the techniques we demonstrate. There are many safety measures as well as technical tips that can not only prevent possible injury, but guide you toward technical proficiency. For more video clips be sure to click on the YouTube button found at the bottom of our website. This will direct you to our YouTube Channel. Thank you for watching!

Well, the 2017 USA Judo Scholastic and Collegiate Nationals was nothing less than spectacular with competitors and coaches traveling from all over the country to try and find their place on the podium. Not an easy task, especially when some divisions were 22 competitors deep. Podium or not though we saw many outstanding players on the floor and the experience they each walk away with will definitely have an impact on their future training and performance. For some this was their chance at making the cadet team and representing our country in future international events. Regardless of the division though the competition was fierce and each athlete felt the same pressure to perform.
A big congratulations goes out to our competitors who had the honor of standing on the podium at this event! We could not be more proud of our players and the families who support them. We don't often speak about what is required for these athletes to train, travel, and compete. It is a big investment of both time and money for these families. We cannot thank you enough for allowing these young athletes the chance to pursue their passion. So in closing we would like to say that the families of these athletes are the real winners for giving up so much so that the athletes can attend very special and important events like this one. We are so privileged to have you as members of our dojo family and look forward to many future successes together. To our athletes: Don't forget to set your goals, always train hard, and be a positive influence on others! We hope to see more of you on the floor at next years USA Judo National Event. The 2017 Vacaville Battle for the Star Judo Tournament is now officially closed and recorded. We had several competitors enter this well put together event and each walked away with a little more experience. Some even brought home some shiny new hardware. I was proud to see all of the effort, bravery, and sportsmanship on display from our team. This was another great showing for NorCal Sport Jujitsu & Judo Club! Great work everyone!!

Well, the 2016 CJI State Judo Championships are behind us. NorCal Sport Jujitsu & Judo Club had a good showing and each competitor was met with some good competition. We had some very notable accomplishments that we would like to mention. Jazmin took 1st place in her division and this was only her second time ever competing! Great job Jazmin!! Jake also took 1st place in the men's division! Kylie went up against a junior blue belt in her first ever Juvenile A (chokes permitted) division. Very close matches and very impressive considering she was an orange belt going against the equivalent of a brown belt. She lost her first round against this girl by only a Shido (stalling infraction)! Nikolas was in an 8 competitor pool that was stacked with talent. He didn't make the podium this time around but he won some matches along the way and being that it was his first State Championship appearance we think he put on a pretty good show. Elias was faced with an interesting competitor pool that was filled with some tough Judoka. The result was a three way tie for 2nd place! Very unusual, but it shows how close these matches were. We would like to congratulate all of these tough competitors once again for their participation in this challenging event! Just showing up was an accomplishment in itself!!
The 2016 Cupertino Judo Invitational was a blast. The tournament was well run and all of our competitors had a great time. A notable mention goes out to Jasmine for her stellar performance in what was her very first Judo tournament. As for the others it may not have been their first time but the performances were nothing less than admirable. As always there was a fantastic display of sportsmanship, before, during, and after every match. Most importantly we note the courage it takes for these students to show up and compete without letting fear override their actions. This is a life skill that carries with them way outside of the sport of Judo.
