After suffering a significant injury earlier in the year which required surgery to correct Sensei Elias Sabin was able to come back and finish out his year with a first place finish at the President's Cup in Irving, Texas. Over the course of 2021 Sensei Sabin was able to accumulate enough points to earn the prestigious #1 ranked spot in the U.S. for the 100kg IJF Juniors Division. The IJF Juniors Division is an extremely competitive division and features several future Olympic prospects. Sensei Sabin has entered this division over two years early so he is way ahead of the game and on a path for an amazing future in the sport. Competing at a high level is nothing new to Elias. He has already received multiple invites to compete for Team USA at international venues and made the finals at his very first international event which was held in Guadalajara, Jalisco (Mexico) in 2020. For all that he chooses to pursue in 2022 it would be safe to say that he will experience another great year of success and accomplishment.
